1Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Ace Tok ("Ace Tok", "we", "us"), a short-video sharing service operated from Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. By creating an account or using Ace Tok, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ace Tok. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up. Providing a false date of birth is a violation of these Terms and will lead to the termination of your account.
2Your account
- Provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your password private.
- Your account is personal: do not sell, transfer, or share it, and do not create accounts by automated means.
- Email verification is required before an account becomes active.
3Your content
You own the videos, captions, comments, and other content you post. So that Ace Tok can work, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, compress, reproduce, distribute, and display your content within the service — for example, storing your video, converting it for streaming, and showing it in other users' feeds. This license ends when your content or account is deleted, except where content has been shared by others or where we must retain it for legal reasons.
You are responsible for your content. Only post content that you created or have the right to use, and that follows the Community rules below. Content you post publicly can be seen by other users.
4Community rules
Ace Tok is an adult community, but it is not a place for harmful content. Do not post, share, or do any of the following:
- Illegal content or activity of any kind.
- Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content.
- Violence, gore, threats, or the promotion of dangerous or harmful acts.
- Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or content that demeans a person or group.
- Impersonating another person, or using symbols such as checkmarks to imitate verification.
- Spam, misleading content, or fake engagement — including buying, selling, or artificially inflating followers, likes, or views, and using bots or automation.
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or privacy.
- Malware, scraping, reverse engineering, or any attempt to bypass Ace Tok's security, rate limits, CAPTCHA, upload rules, or moderation.
We may remove content and restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules.
5Reporting, blocking, and moderation
You can report videos and users directly in the app, and block any account so it can no longer interact with you. We review reports and take the action we consider appropriate, including removing content, removing badges, and suspending or terminating accounts. We may also act without a report where necessary to protect users or comply with law.
6Profile links and sharing
You may optionally add links or a phone number for third-party platforms (such as Snapchat, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, or YouTube) or an email address to your profile, so other users can find or contact you elsewhere. You must only add links or contact details that are genuinely yours, and you are responsible for keeping them accurate and for anything that happens on those third-party platforms once someone reaches you there. Ace Tok is not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of any third-party platform you link to. We may remove a profile link at any time if it violates these Terms — for example, if it is misleading, impersonates someone else, or points to content that would itself break the Community rules in section 4.
Ace Tok also lets you generate a link to your public profile to share outside the app. This link only reveals information that is already public on your profile, and is subject to the same visibility rules as the rest of your profile — for example, it will not work for a user you have blocked, or who has blocked you.
7Ace Tok Plus
Ace Tok Plus is an optional upgrade that may be enabled on an account. It provides benefits such as the red Plus badge, longer video uploads, higher upload limits, and expanded Streak benefits described in the section below — including longer Streaks, more Streaks per day, and the ability to boost an existing post as a Streak. Ace Tok Plus is not sold, billed, or purchased through the app, and the app does not process payments of any kind. Availability, benefits, and duration are determined at Ace Tok's discretion and may change at any time. Plus benefits apply to your personal account and do not exempt you from these Terms.
8Streaks
A Streak is a short video that is visible for a limited time (currently 24 hours) and is automatically and permanently deleted afterward, regardless of how many times it was viewed. Once you have viewed a Streak, it will not be shown to you again.
When you post a Streak, you choose who can see it: your Followers, or your Friends (accounts you mutually follow). Since a Friend is always also a Follower, choosing Followers reaches both groups. If you block another user, or they block you, Streaks are not visible between you in either direction, consistent with the blocking behavior described in section 5.
Free accounts may post Streaks up to 15 seconds long, up to a daily limit. Ace Tok Plus increases this limit, allows longer Streaks (up to 60 seconds), and adds the ability to send an already-posted video as a Streak ("boost"), limited to once per day. When a post is boosted as a Streak, likes, saves, shares, and views generated through it are counted on and remain permanently associated with the original post, even after the Streak itself expires. Daily Streak limits reset on a rolling 24-hour basis, not at a fixed time of day.
Streaks are still subject to the Community rules in section 4, and can be reported, removed, or lead to account restrictions like any other content.
9Verified badge
The blue verified badge identifies authentic, notable accounts. You can apply in the app once your account reaches 100,000 followers. Additional guidelines we consider include total likes (1M+), whether you are a notable or well-known person, and the absence of a criminal record or a history of inappropriate behavior. Meeting the guidelines does not guarantee verification: every application is reviewed manually, and verification is granted, refused, or removed at Ace Tok's sole discretion — for example, if an account breaks these Terms or misleads others.
10Advertising
Ace Tok is funded by advertising. The service displays ads provided by third-party ad networks, and you agree that we may show ads within the app, including in your feed. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.
11Intellectual property
The Ace Tok name, logo, badges, app, and design are the property of Ace Tok. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, no rights in the service are transferred to you.
Copyright infringement reports. Ace Tok respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on Ace Tok infringes your copyright, you may report it directly through the app's Report feature (choose "Copyright Infringement") or by contacting us at support@acetok.com. To help us act on your report, please include:
- A link to the original work on a platform where it was published prior to the upload date on Ace Tok, or other reasonable evidence demonstrating your ownership of the work; and
- Confirmation that your identity reasonably matches the ownership you are claiming.
Reports that do not include this information may not be actioned. We reserve the right to request additional information, or to make a good-faith determination in ambiguous cases. Upon receiving a valid claim, we may remove or restrict access to the reported content without prior notice to the person who posted it. Accounts found to be repeat infringers of the intellectual property rights of others will have their access to Ace Tok suspended or terminated.
12Termination
You can stop using Ace Tok and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, or stop providing all or part of the service, if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or for Ace Tok, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses for shared content, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive it.
13Disclaimers
Ace Tok is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including about availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Content on Ace Tok is created by users; we do not endorse user content and are not responsible for it.
14Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace Tok will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Ace Tok evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Ace Tok after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16Governing law
These Terms are governed by generally accepted international commercial principles, without regard to the conflict-of-law provisions of any specific jurisdiction. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration under internationally recognized arbitration rules, conducted in English, unless mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
Ace Tok
